What we list

MilitaryLineup lists businesses, not private people. Listings come from public license records (state real estate licensing in Texas, Virginia, Florida, California, Colorado, Arizona, Missouri, Kansas, Nevada, Tennessee and Alabama, state child care licensing (Texas Health and Human Services, Nebraska DHHS, the South Dakota Department of Social Services, the Wyoming Department of Family Services, the Delaware Office of Child Care Licensing, Oklahoma Human Services, the Louisiana Department of Education, the Virginia Department of Education, the California Department of Social Services, Washington DCYF, the Colorado Department of Early Childhood, the Arizona Department of Health Services, Missouri DESE, the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services, the Tennessee Department of Human Services, Alabama DHR, South Carolina DSS, Maryland MSDE (through Maryland EXCELS) and Montana DPHHS), Delaware real estate office permits, the FMCSA motor carrier census and the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation), CFPB mortgage data, base Housing Office lists, Overture Maps open data, and business owners. We do not list family child care homes, because those addresses are family homes.

Get Quotes requests

• When you send a Get Quotes request, we email your name, email, phone (if you give it), move month and message to the paid businesses in the category you picked at that base. The page shows you which businesses got it.
• We never sell your details and never share them with anyone else.
• We keep the request for 13 months so businesses can reply and we can stop spam, then delete it.
• Businesses that claimed a free listing may get a short notice that a family asked for quotes in their category. That notice never includes your name, email, phone or message.

If you claim or buy a listing

• We keep your email address so you can sign in and so we can send you codes, receipts, your monthly results and notices about your listing.
• Sign-in codes are stored only as a scrambled fingerprint and expire after 10 minutes.
• We set one sign-in cookie that keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. It is not used for advertising.
• Every notice email has a link to stop it.

Payments

Paid listings are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. We keep the Stripe customer and subscription ID so we can show your plan and let you manage, cancel or get a refund.

Counts we keep

To send each paying business its monthly results, we count listing views and taps on Call and Website buttons. We count them per business per day. We do not store anything about the visitor, and we do not use cookies or third-party trackers for this.

Share and install counts

Some pages have a share button run by our partner service at growth.grademyhabits.com. When you use it, or arrive from a link someone shared, it counts the share or visit and may set a small cookie with a referral code so the person who shared can be credited. It does not collect your name or contact details.

What we never do

• We never sell your information.
• We never show reviews or ratings copied from other websites.
• We do not run third-party advertising trackers.

Your choices

To fix or remove a listing, or to delete your owner account, use the remove my listing page. You do not need to sign in.
